The Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware is committed to working full time to raise money for leukemia and blood cancer research. Our mission is to provide researchers with the necessary funding to cure leukemia and other related blood cancers and to help improve the lives of those affected by these deadly diseases. With hopes to triple our annual investments by year 2010, we depend on you for your continued support.

Founded in 2007, by Denni and Nicholas J. Ferrara III, their goal in establishing the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware was to create a foundation solely committed to making research funding a priority. Nick and Denni Ferrara have been in the fight against leukemia and blood related cancers for over 9 years, because their beautiful daughter was diagnosed with High Risk ALL Leukemia at the age of 4. Natalia is now 14 years old, and Nick and Denni continue in the search for a cure for blood related cancers in order to prevent other families from enduring the fight that Natalia faced. They, along with friends, family and valued supporters believe that the only way toward a cure is to raise funds for the research and development of new medications and protocols.

The LRFDE does not receive any federal funding for our foundation, so we partner with local businesses and hold several fundraising events year round to support our cause; our signature Black Tie Gala ,“Tee Off for a Cure” Golf Tournament, and Frightland 5K run are a few. Please remember that our organization is 100% volunteer driven.
