Medical Oncology and Hematology
If you are experiencing a blood disorder, cancer of the blood, anemia or an immunodeficiency problem, our health care team at the Medical Oncology and Hematology Clinic can provide you with a diagnosis, therapy and compassionate care.
The clinic sees patients with any cancer requiring chemotherapy or another form of infusion, including:
* Gastrointestinal malignancies
* Lung cancer
* Breast cancer
* Melanoma
* Leukemia
* Lymphoma
* Urologic cancers
You will be provided with primary cancer treatment and continuous follow up. Second opinions are available for both inpatient and outpatients.
The multidisciplinary approach to health care is the standard for our clinics in the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. Depending on your condition, you may be eligible to participate in research clinical trials, which offer new and innovative treatments not available elsewhere in Arkansas.
