Raynaud's research studies are designed to answer important questions about the disease and to find out whether new approaches are safe and effective. Other Raynaud's research scientists are studying the molecular mechanisms behind the disease, the anatomy of blood vessels, and possible genetic associations. Researchers in scleroderma and other connective tissue diseases are also investigating Raynaud's phenomenon in relation to these diseases.
