Description: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Greater Los Angeles will name the 2009 Man & Woman of the Year during a grand finale gala event that will include signature cocktails provided by UV Vodka, wine, hors d'oeuvres, live and silent auctions. Winners will be selected based on their performance in a 9-week fundraising competition. 15 candidates are doing their part to boost charitable giving for the LLS and make a difference in the lives of local patients and their families. Candidates are currently hosting a variety of online and offline fundraisers, as they vie for local and national titles in honor of the 2009 Boy & Girl of the Year, 6 year-old Tyler Cordova and 10 year-old Kelly Delaney. Tyler and Kelly are both bravely battling blood cancers.
